Teknipure TC2PU1-44 TekniClean® Polyester Knit Wiper, Sealed Edge, 4″x4″, 6000 wipes/cs
Teknipure TC2PU1-44 TekniClean® Polyester Knit Wiper, Sealed Edge, 4 in x 4 in, Case of 6,000
The Teknipure TC2PU1-44 TekniClean® is a dry, non-sterile 100% polyester knit cleanroom wiper with an ultrasonic-sealed edge in the compact 4"x4" format, rated for ISO Class 2–7 environments. Constructed from high-strength continuous-filament polyester yarn in a double-knit no-run interlock pattern, the TC2PU1-44 delivers superior durability and abrasion resistance compared to standard single-knit wipers, while maintaining the low particle and fiber generation required for critical cleanroom applications. The 4"x4" format is designed for precision component cleaning, optical surfaces, sensors, connector pins, and tight-access areas where a larger wiper would be wasteful or unwieldy. Ultrasonic-sealed edges prevent fiber shedding at the perimeter. Lot traceable, manufactured in ISO-certified facilities.
Sold in cases of 6,000 wipers (600 wipers/bag, 10 bags/case).

Frequently Asked Questions
What does "double-knit no-run interlock" mean and why does it matter?
Double-knit no-run interlock is a specific polyester knit construction where two layers of yarn are interlocked in a pattern that prevents runs or unraveling if the wiper is snagged or abraded during use. This makes the TC2PU1 significantly more durable than single-knit wipers — it maintains its integrity under repeated wiping pressure and does not shed fibers or particles when stressed. For cleanroom applications where wiper integrity is critical, the double-knit construction provides a meaningful performance advantage.
When should I use the 4"x4" TekniClean® instead of the 9"x9" or 12"x12"?
The 4"x4" is designed for precision tasks where a larger wiper would be impractical — cleaning individual components, optical lenses, sensors, connector pins, and tight-access areas on equipment. The smaller format also reduces solvent usage per wipe when applying IPA or other cleaning solutions to small surfaces. For general bench and equipment surface cleaning, the 9"x9" (TC2PU1-99) or 12"x12" (TC2PU1-12) formats are more efficient.
What is the difference between TekniClean® TC2PU1 and TekniLight™ TC1PS1/TC2PL1?
TekniClean® (TC2PU1 series) uses a double-knit no-run interlock construction with continuous-filament polyester yarn — heavier, more durable, and more abrasion-resistant than TekniLight™. TekniLight™ (TC1PS1/TC2PL1 series) uses a lighter-weight knit better suited for large-surface cleaning and applications where a softer, more conformable wiper is preferred. Both are ISO Class 2–7 rated with sealed edges; choose TekniClean® for demanding precision tasks, TekniLight™ for large-surface and general maintenance cleaning.
Is the TC2PU1-44 lot traceable for GMP documentation?
Yes. TekniClean® wipers are manufactured in ISO-certified facilities and are lot traceable, supporting GMP documentation requirements for pharmaceutical, medical device, and compounding pharmacy cleanrooms operating under USP <797>, USP <800>, or FDA 21 CFR Part 211 requirements.
