Teknipure TZ1MF-12 MicroZorb™ Nonwoven Microfiber Cleanroom Wiper, 12 in x 12 in, 1,500/cs

The Teknipure TZ1MF-12 MicroZorb™ is a dry, non-sterile nonwoven microfiber cleanroom wiper in the 12"x12" format, rated for ISO Class 5–8 environments. The microfiber nonwoven construction delivers lower particle and fiber generation than polyester/cellulose blends, making it suitable for higher-classification cleanroom tasks and scratch-sensitive surfaces. The 12"x12" is the largest standard dry MicroZorb™ format — preferred for wiping large flat surfaces including equipment exteriors, workstation benches, pass-through chamber walls, and floor sections where coverage efficiency per wipe is the priority. Manufactured in ISO-certified facilities with lot traceability for GMP, USP <797>, and USP <800> compliance. 5-year shelf life from date of manufacture.

Sold in cases of 1,500 wipers (150 wipers/bag, 10 bags/case).

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I use the 12"x12" MicroZorb™ instead of the 9"x9" or 4"x4"?

The 12"x12" is the largest standard dry MicroZorb™ format and is best suited for wiping large flat surfaces where coverage efficiency per wipe is the priority — equipment exteriors, workstation benches, pass-through chamber walls, and large floor sections. The 9"x9" (TZ1MF-99) is the standard workhorse for general bench and component cleaning. The 4"x4" (TZ1MF-44) is for precision tasks on small components and tight-access areas. Most facilities stock the 9"x9" as their primary size and use the 12"x12" for larger surface cleaning tasks.

How does MicroZorb™ microfiber compare to TekniZorb® polyester/cellulose wipers?

TekniZorb® (TZ1PCS series) uses a hydroentangled polyester/cellulose blend — high absorbency, ISO Class 5–8 rated, ideal for general surface cleaning and spill control. MicroZorb™ (TZ1MF series) uses a nonwoven microfiber construction that generates fewer particles and fibers than the polycell blend, making it better suited for scratch-sensitive surfaces and applications where lower extractables are required. Choose MicroZorb™ when surface sensitivity or lower particle generation is the priority; choose TekniZorb® when high absorbency and economy are the priority.

Is the TZ1MF-12 safe for scratch-sensitive surfaces?

Yes. The nonwoven microfiber construction is soft and low-abrasion, making it suitable for cleaning optical components, lenses, sensors, and precision-machined surfaces where harder or coarser wiper materials could cause scratching. The 12"x12" format is particularly useful for wiping large optical panels, display surfaces, and equipment covers where a smaller wiper would require multiple passes.

Is this wiper lot traceable for GMP documentation?

Yes. MicroZorb™ wipers are manufactured in ISO-certified facilities and are lot traceable, supporting GMP documentation requirements for pharmaceutical, medical device, and compounding pharmacy cleanrooms operating under USP <797>, USP <800>, or FDA 21 CFR Part 211 requirements.
