Teknipure TC1PS2-99 TekniLight Polyester Knit Wiper, Sealed Edge, 9 in x 9 in, Case of 1200
Teknipure TC1PS2-99 TekniLight Polyester Knit Wiper, Sealed Edge, 9 in x 9 in, Case of 1,200
The Teknipure TC1PS2-99 TekniLight™ is a dry, sealed-edge, laundered polyester knit cleanroom wiper rated for ISO Class 2–7 environments — a significantly higher cleanliness specification than polycell nonwoven wipers. The sealed edge construction minimizes fiber release at the wiper perimeter, while the knit polyester construction delivers superior particle pickup, abrasion resistance, and chemical compatibility compared to nonwoven alternatives. Ideal for semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, optical component cleaning, and medical device assembly where low particle generation and consistent wiping performance are critical.
Sold in cases of 1,200 wipers (150 wipers/bag, 8 bags/case).

Frequently Asked Questions
How does TekniLight polyester knit compare to TekniZorb polycellulose nonwoven?
TekniLight™ polyester knit wipers are rated for ISO 2–7 environments, while TekniZorb® polycell nonwoven wipers are rated for ISO 5–8. The polyester knit construction generates fewer particles and fibers, making TekniLight the correct choice for more critical cleanroom classifications. TekniZorb offers higher absorbency for general cleaning tasks; TekniLight is preferred where particle control is the primary requirement.
What does “sealed edge” mean and why does it matter?
Sealed edge construction bonds the perimeter of the wiper to prevent fiber shedding from the cut edges — the most common source of particle contamination from knit wipers. In critical ISO 2–7 environments, unsealed edges can introduce fibers that contaminate surfaces or products. The TC1PS2-99’s sealed edge ensures the wiper maintains its low-particle performance throughout use.
Is the TC1PS2-99 compatible with IPA and other cleanroom solvents?
Yes. TekniLight™ polyester knit wipers have excellent chemical compatibility with isopropyl alcohol (IPA), sterile water, hydrogen peroxide, quaternary ammonium disinfectants, and most common cleanroom cleaning and disinfecting solutions. The polyester construction is more chemically resistant than cellulose-blend wipers, making it suitable for aggressive solvent applications.
Is a presaturated version of the TC1PS2-99 available?
Yes. Teknipure offers TekniLight™ Presat versions of this wiper pre-wetted with IPA for ready-to-use cleanroom cleaning. Contact us for presaturated TekniLight options if you prefer a pre-wetted format over dry wipers with separate solvent application.
