Frequently Asked Questions
What is LOW DERMA™ technology?
LOW DERMA™ is Hourglass’s patented accelerator-free nitrile formulation that eliminates the chemical accelerators (thiurams, carbamates, dithiocarbamates) commonly associated with Type IV allergic contact dermatitis. This makes the Scion700 suitable for users with glove-related skin sensitivities.
Is the Scion700 latex-free?
Yes — it is not made with natural rubber latex, making it appropriate for users with Type I latex allergies as well.
What applications is the Scion700 suited for?
It is designed for medical exam, laboratory, pharmaceutical, and controlled environment use where chemical permeation resistance and low dermatitis risk are priorities.
How many gloves come per box and per case?
300 gloves per box, 10 boxes per case (3,000 gloves/case) for most sizes. XL is 250 gloves/box, 2,500 gloves/case.
