What cartridges are compatible with the JBC CP-1QF?
The CP-1QF uses JBC C120 series cartridges, which are designed for the AM120 Adjustable Micro Tweezers. C120 cartridges are available in a range of tip geometries for different SMT component sizes. Note: cartridges are not included with the CP-1QF station and must be ordered separately.

What types of components can the CP-1QF solder and rework?
The CP-1QF is optimized for SMT chip components (resistors, capacitors, inductors), small and medium SOP packages, and dual-line components. It is not designed for large QFP, BGA, or through-hole components — for those applications, JBC offers other station configurations.

Is the CP-1QF ESD safe?
Yes. The CP-1QF meets and exceeds ANSI/ESD S20.20-2014 and IPC J-STD-001F requirements for tip-to-ground voltage and resistance. It includes an equipotential bonding connection for integration into an EPA (ESD Protected Area).

Yes — the CP-1QF includes an FAE connector for direct control of a compatible JBC Smart Fume Extractor. The fume extractor activates automatically when the tweezers are in use and shuts off when they are returned to the stand, reducing noise and energy use.
