Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the 9300 different from other Hourglass cleanroom nitrile gloves?
The 9300 is the only Hourglass cleanroom glove rated for ISO Class 4 (Class 10) — the strictest classification in the Hourglass lineup. It also uniquely combines LOW DERMA™ accelerator-free and sulfur-free nitrile with a low-endotoxin formulation and anti-fatigue construction, making it the top choice for pharmaceutical aseptic processing, semiconductor wafer fabrication, and other ultra-critical environments.
What does sulfur-free nitrile mean?
Sulfur compounds in standard nitrile gloves can cause static dissipation issues and may react with sensitive metal surfaces or electronic components. The 9300’s sulfur-free formulation is static dissipative and safe for metal surfaces — important in semiconductor and electronics cleanroom environments.
What is low endotoxin and why does it matter?
Endotoxins are bacterial cell wall components that can cause contamination issues in pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing. A low-endotoxin glove minimizes the risk of introducing endotoxin contamination into sterile or aseptic processes — critical for injectable drug manufacturing and cell therapy applications.
What sizes are available?
The HandPRO 9300 is available in XS through XXL — the widest size range in the Hourglass cleanroom glove lineup.
