Desco 66326 — Statfree UC2 Dissipative Dual Layer Rubber Tray Liner, Sky Blue, 16" × 24" × .080"

The Desco 66326 Statfree UC2 Tray Liner is a cleanroom-grade ESD worksurface liner designed for component trays, parts bins, and shallow handling fixtures in controlled environments. The 16" × 24" mat is cleaned and packaged in a Class 1000 (ISO 6) controlled environment and double bagged to control contamination before transfer to the cleanroom. The dual layer construction delivers a dissipative top surface for safe contact with ESD-sensitive devices and a highly conductive bottom layer for grounding and ESD monitor compatibility. Includes Desco 14213 ground cord. Meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 worksurface requirements. Made in the USA.

Key Features

  • Class 1000 Cleanroom Packaged: Tray liner is cleaned and packaged in a Class 1000 (ISO 6) controlled environment. Double bagged to control contamination of contents before transfer to the cleanroom.
  • Tray Liner Format: Sized for component trays, parts bins, and shallow handling fixtures in cleanroom workstations. Grounds through the conductive bottom layer via contact with the tray or fixture connected to common point ground.
  • Dissipative Top Layer: Meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 worksurface required limits and ANSI/ESD S4.1 recommendations. Does not generate static charge; controls discharge rate from ESD-sensitive devices placed in the tray.
  • Highly Conductive Bottom Layer (<1×10⁴ Ω): Lower-resistance path to ground than standard T2 Plus mats. Compatible with ESD workstation continuous monitors.
  • High Strength Nitrile Rubber: Designed to withstand abrasion, stretching, and tearing. Suitable for soldering applications with flux and other chemicals.
  • UV Stabilizer Additives: Preserves color retention and ESD performance; prevents surface cracking and deterioration over time.
  • Includes Desco 14213 Ground Cord.
  • RoHS 2 Compliant. Made in USA.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Desco 66326 UC2 tray liner and the Desco 66466 T2 Plus tray liner?

Both are 16" × 24" dual layer rubber tray liners. The 66326 is the UC2 cleanroom series: cleaned and packaged in a Class 1000 controlled environment, double bagged, with a highly conductive bottom layer (<1×10⁴ Ω) and includes the 14213 ground cord. The 66466 is the T2 Plus standard series: not cleanroom packaged, with a standard conductive bottom layer (<1×10⁶ Ω), and does not include a ground cord. Choose the 66326 for cleanroom applications; the 66466 for standard production environments.

Does the 66326 tray liner need to be grounded?

Yes. Like all ESD worksurfaces, the tray liner must be properly grounded to dissipate ESD charges. The included 14213 ground cord connects the mat to a common point ground at the workstation. Verify grounding with a surface resistance meter after installation.

Is the UC2 tray liner compatible with flux and soldering chemicals?

Yes. The high strength nitrile rubber compound resists absorption of flux, solvents, and other common soldering chemicals, maintaining ESD performance and physical integrity through service life.
