Indium 6.6HF SAC305 Lead-Free Solder Paste 600g | Water-Soluble | PASTEOT-801641-600G
Indium PASTEOT-801641-600G — 6.6HF SAC305 Lead-Free Water-Soluble Solder Paste | 600g Cartridge | Type 4
Indium 6.6HF is a water-soluble (water-wash) SAC305 solder paste formulated for air or nitrogen reflow. It is made with SAC305 alloy and a Type 4 (88.5% metal load) powder, delivering exceptional stencil printing performance with long stencil life and excellent response-to-pause — critical for high-mix production lines with frequent stoppages. Exceptional wetting across a wide range of surface finishes and industry-leading voiding performance for BGAs, CSPs, and QFNs. Residues must be cleaned after reflow using a water-wash cleaning process.
Sold in packs of 5 (minimum order) — 600g cartridges.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does 6.6HF require cleaning after reflow?
Yes — Indium 6.6HF is a water-soluble flux formulation. Residues must be removed after reflow using a water-wash cleaning system. It is not a no-clean paste. Proper cleaning with deionized water achieves low ionic contamination levels required for high-reliability assemblies.
What is the difference between PASTEOT-801641 and PASTEOT-801642?
Both use the 6.6HF water-soluble flux. PASTEOT-801641 is the lead-free SAC305 version; PASTEOT-801642 is the leaded Sn63/Pb37 version. Choose based on your process requirements and RoHS compliance needs.
Is 6.6HF compatible with lead-free wave soldering processes?
Yes. Indium 6.6HF is compatible with both SAC305 (lead-free) and SnPb reflow profiles, making it suitable for facilities running mixed processes or transitioning to lead-free production.
What stencil aperture sizes work with Type 4 powder?
Type 4 powder (20–38 micron particle size) is suitable for apertures down to approximately 0.4mm pitch and area ratios of 0.66 or greater. For ultra-fine-pitch below 0.3mm, Type 5 or Type 6 powder should be considered.
