The SCS 2209 is a disposable single-use ESD wrist strap designed for cost-effective personnel grounding of visitors and temporary personnel in ESD protected areas. Ideal for shipment along with ESD-sensitive items, providing the means to ground personnel when opening ESDS packaging and installing contents. A hypoallergenic adhesive provides 360° contact with the skin to minimize skin-to-band resistance, while the conductive adhesive copper foil adheres to any convenient ground point for equipotential bonding. A current-limiting resistance is built into the plastic ribbon below the wristband for operator safety. Meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 wrist strap system requirements tested per ESD TR53. UL Listed. Individually packaged.
