Permabond UV006450001L0101, UV645 UV-Curable Adhesive, 1 Liter Bottle
Permabond UV006450001L0101 UV645 UV-Curable Adhesive, 1 Liter Bottle
Permabond UV645 is a single-part, fast-curing, high-viscosity UV-curable adhesive designed for bonding plastics, metals, and glass. Its high viscosity makes it ideal for vertical surfaces, gap filling, and sealing applications where lower-viscosity UV adhesives would sag or flow before cure. UV645 delivers very high shear strength, elongation, and impact resistance — making it well suited for assemblies with dissimilar materials or substrates with different coefficients of thermal expansion. Good depth-of-cure capability also makes UV645 effective as a sealant in addition to a structural adhesive. The 1 liter bottle is suited for high-volume production and automated dispensing.
Sold individually (1 liter bottle).

Frequently Asked Questions
How does UV645 differ from UV630 and UV640 for plastic bonding?
All three grades bond plastics with high shear strength, elongation, and impact resistance, but UV645 stands out in two key ways: its high viscosity prevents sagging on vertical surfaces and enables gap filling, and it also bonds metals and glass in addition to plastics — making it a more versatile choice for multi-substrate assemblies. UV645’s good depth-of-cure capability also makes it suitable as a sealant, which UV630 and UV640 are not specifically designed for.
Can UV645 be used as a sealant?
Yes. UV645’s good depth-of-cure capability makes it suitable for sealing applications in addition to structural bonding. This makes it a practical choice when a single adhesive needs to both bond and seal a joint — reducing the number of materials needed in an assembly process.
Why is high viscosity important for UV adhesive selection?
High-viscosity UV adhesives like UV645 stay in place after application, making them suitable for vertical surfaces, overhead applications, and joints with larger gaps where a lower-viscosity adhesive would flow out of position before UV cure is applied. If your application involves non-horizontal surfaces or requires gap filling, UV645’s high viscosity is a significant advantage over lower-viscosity UV grades.
When should I choose the 1 liter bottle over the 50ml bottle?
The 1 liter bottle is designed for high-volume production and automated dispensing where smaller bottles would require frequent changeover. The 50ml bottle (UV006450050T0101, case of 10) is better suited for bench-level assembly, prototyping, or lower-volume applications where smaller quantities minimize waste.
