Teknipure TZ1PCS2-99 TekniZorb Polyester/Cellulose Nonwoven Cleanroom Wipers, LW, 9″x9″ - Case of 3,000
Teknipure TZ1PCS2-99 TekniZorb Polyester/Cellulose Nonwoven Cleanroom Wiper, Lightweight, 9 x 9 in, Case of 3,000
The Teknipure TZ1PCS2-99 is a dry lightweight polyester/cellulose nonwoven cleanroom wiper from the TekniZorb® line, 9" x 9", rated for ISO Class 5–8 environments. The polyester/cellulose (polycell) nonwoven construction combines the low-lint, low-particle characteristics of polyester with the high absorbency of cellulose — making TekniZorb® wipers the preferred choice for high-absorbency applications such as spill control, disinfectant residue removal, and precleaning before disinfectant application where a pure polyester wiper would not hold sufficient liquid. The lightweight construction provides an economical, high-count case format — at 3,000 wipers per case (300/bag, 10 bags/case), the TZ1PCS2-99 is well suited for high-volume cleanroom operations where large quantities of wipers are consumed per cleaning cycle. The 9" x 9" format is the standard size for most cleanroom wiping protocols. Low levels of particles, fibers, NVR, and ions. Excellent chemical compatibility with IPA, disinfectants, lubricants, adhesives, and other cleanroom-compatible solutions. Lot traceable, manufactured in ISO-certified facilities. GMP, USP <797>, and USP <800> compliant. 5-year shelf life from date of manufacture.
Sold in cases of 3,000 wipers (300/bag, 10 bags/case).

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between TZ1PCS2-99 (9x9") and TZ1PCS2-12 (12x12")?
Both are the same TekniZorb® polyester/cellulose nonwoven construction with identical ISO Class 5–8 rating and absorbency characteristics. The TZ1PCS2-99 is 9" x 9" — the standard cleanroom wiper size for most wiping protocols — and comes in a high-count 3,000/case format (300/bag, 10 bags/case) for high-volume operations. The TZ1PCS2-12 is 12" x 12" for larger surface areas and comes in a 1,500/case format (150/bag, 10 bags/case). Choose based on the surface area being cleaned and your facility’s standard wiper size protocol.
What is the advantage of polyester/cellulose (polycell) construction over pure polyester for cleanroom wipers?
Pure polyester wipers provide ultra-low lint and ultra-low extractables but have limited absorbency. Polyester/cellulose nonwoven wipers add cellulose fibers to the construction, significantly increasing liquid holding capacity for high-absorbency applications such as spill control, disinfectant residue removal, and precleaning passes where the wiper needs to hold and remove larger volumes of liquid. The tradeoff is slightly higher lint and extractables than pure polyester — making polycell wipers best suited for ISO Class 5–8 environments rather than the most critical ISO Class 3–4 applications.
Is the TZ1PCS2-99 compatible with IPA and sporicidal disinfectants?
Yes — TekniZorb® wipers have excellent chemical compatibility with IPA, DI water, quaternary ammonium compounds, hydrogen peroxide-based sporicidal agents, and most other cleanroom-compatible cleaning and disinfecting solutions. Always verify compatibility with your specific disinfectant formulation and concentration before use in validated cleaning processes.
Why choose the 3,000/case TZ1PCS2-99 over a smaller case count?
The 3,000/case format reduces per-wiper cost and minimizes the frequency of reordering for high-volume cleanroom operations. For facilities that consume large quantities of wipers per cleaning cycle — pharmaceutical manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication, and large-scale biotech operations — the high-count case format reduces packaging waste and storage space per wiper compared to smaller case configurations.
