Teknipure TZ1PCS1B-99 TekniZorb® Polyester-Cellulose Nonwoven Blue Wiper, 9 in x 9 in, Case of 3,000

The Teknipure TZ1PCS1B-99 TekniZorb® is a dry, blue polyester-cellulose (polycell) nonwoven cleanroom wiper rated for ISO Class 5–8 environments. The blue color distinguishes it from white TekniZorb wipers for color-coded contamination control protocols — allowing facilities to designate specific wiper colors to specific cleaning zones, surfaces, or tasks to prevent cross-contamination. The polycell nonwoven construction delivers high absorbency for spill control and solvent application, low particle and fiber generation, and excellent chemical compatibility with disinfectants, IPA, and other cleanroom cleaning solutions. Manufactured in ISO-certified facilities with lot traceability for GMP, USP <797>, and USP <800> compliance. 5,999 units in stock.

Sold in cases of 3,000 wipers (300 wipers/bag, 10 bags/case).

Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose blue TekniZorb wipers instead of white?

The blue color is used for color-coded contamination control protocols, where different wiper colors are assigned to different cleaning zones, surfaces, or tasks to prevent cross-contamination. For example, a facility might use white wipers for equipment surfaces and blue wipers for floor or drain areas, or use color coding to distinguish between different cleanroom zones. The blue TZ1PCS1B-99 is identical in construction and performance to the white TZ1PCS1 — the only difference is color. If your SOP or contamination control plan specifies blue wipers for a particular application, this is the correct product.

What is the difference between TekniZorb polycell and TekniClean polyester knit wipers?

TekniZorb® (polycell nonwoven) wipers are rated for ISO Class 5–8 and offer higher absorbency, making them well suited for spill control, solvent application, and general surface cleaning. TekniClean® (polyester knit, sealed edge) wipers are rated for ISO Class 2–7 and generate fewer particles, making them the correct choice for more critical cleanroom classifications where particle control is the primary requirement. For ISO Class 5–6 environments, either may be appropriate depending on the task; for ISO Class 7–8, TekniZorb is the cost-effective standard choice.

Are these wipers compatible with IPA and disinfectants?

Yes. TekniZorb® polycell nonwoven wipers have excellent chemical compatibility with isopropyl alcohol (IPA), sterile water, hydrogen peroxide, quaternary ammonium disinfectants, and most common cleanroom cleaning and disinfecting solutions. Always verify compatibility with your specific chemistry before use in critical applications.

Are these wipers lot traceable for GMP documentation?

Yes. TekniZorb® wipers are manufactured in ISO-certified facilities and are lot traceable, supporting GMP documentation requirements and audit readiness for pharmaceutical, medical device, and compounding pharmacy cleanrooms operating under USP <797>, USP <800>, or FDA 21 CFR Part 211 requirements.
