Teknipure TS2PUI70-99 TekniClean® Presat Polyester Knit Wiper, Sealed Edge, 70% IPA/30% DIW, 9 in x 9 in, 300 Wipes/Case

The Teknipure TS2PUI70-99 TekniClean® Presat is a presaturated 100% polyester knit cleanroom wiper with a sealed edge in the standard 9"x9" format, pre-wetted with 70% USP-grade isopropyl alcohol / 30% deionized water, rated for ISO Class 2–7 environments. The 70/30 IPA formulation is the most widely used cleanroom disinfectant concentration — effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, fungi, and enveloped viruses while evaporating cleanly without leaving residue. The IPA used for pre-saturation is 0.2μm filtered for additional contamination control. Packaged in recloseable pails to minimize evaporation and maintain consistent wiper wetness level between uses. Also available in a flat bag format (50 wipers/bag, 12 bags/case, 600 wipers/case).

Sold in cases of 300 wipers (150 wipers/pail, 2 pails/case). Also available: 600 wipers/case (50/bag, 12 bags/case).

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is 70% IPA the standard concentration for cleanroom disinfection?

70% IPA is more effective as a disinfectant than higher concentrations because the presence of water (30% DIW) is necessary to denature proteins and disrupt cell membranes in microorganisms. Pure or near-pure IPA (99–100%) acts too quickly, causing cell wall coagulation that prevents the alcohol from penetrating the cell — reducing its antimicrobial effectiveness. The 70/30 formulation provides the optimal balance of antimicrobial efficacy, evaporation rate, and surface compatibility for routine cleanroom disinfection.

What is the difference between the pail format and the bag format?

The pail format (150 wipers/pail, 2 pails/case, 300/case) uses a recloseable pail container that minimizes IPA evaporation between uses and is well-suited for workstations where wipers are accessed frequently throughout a shift. The flat bag format (50 wipers/bag, 12 bags/case, 600/case) is better for facilities that open a fresh bag per cleaning session or prefer smaller per-opening quantities to minimize evaporation exposure. Both formats use the same wiper and IPA formulation.

How does the TS2PUI70-99 differ from the TS2PUI70P-99?

Both are TekniClean® presaturated 70/30 IPA wipers in the 9"x9" format, but they differ in packaging format. The TS2PUI70-99 is packaged in pails (150/pail, 2 pails/case). The TS2PUI70P-99 is packaged in flat resealable bags (50/bag format). The wiper construction and IPA formulation are the same — choose based on your preferred dispensing format.

Is a refill format available for dispenser systems?

Yes — the TS2PUI70R-99 is the refill format for the 9"x9" 70/30 IPA wiper, designed for use with TekniClean® dispenser systems. Refill formats reduce packaging waste and cost per wipe for high-volume facilities using dispenser-based cleaning protocols.
