The Teknipure TKS571MDF is a single-end rectangular head microdenier over foam cleanroom swab with a 5.020" (12.75 cm) overall length, constructed from 100% microdenier polyester knit over a 100 ppi polyurethane foam core with a 100% polypropylene handle, rated for ISO Class 5–8 environments. The microdenier over foam hybrid construction combines the ultra-low NVR, softness, and particle-capturing capability of microdenier polyester knit at the tip surface with the extra absorbency and surface conformability of the foam core underneath. The rectangular tip geometry provides maximum flat surface contact for wiping, solvent application and removal, and surface preparation — while the foam core allows the tip to hold more liquid and conform to slightly irregular surfaces better than a polyester-only rectangular tip. The 5.020" handle provides reach into recessed areas and equipment cavities. Laundered to minimize NVR and ions. Thermally bonded — no adhesives, silicone, or amides. Packaged in silicone-free bags. Lot and bar-coded for traceability. 5-year shelf life stored at ambient conditions (59–86°F / 15–30°C).
