The Teknipure TKS570MDF is a small microdenier over foam cleanroom swab with a 2.716" (6.90 cm) overall length, constructed from 100% microdenier polyester knit over a 100 ppi polyurethane foam core with a 100% polypropylene handle, rated for ISO Class 5–8 environments. The microdenier over foam construction is a hybrid design that combines the best properties of both materials: the microdenier polyester knit outer layer provides ultra-low particle generation, ultra-low NVR, softness, and enhanced particle-capturing capability at the tip surface; the 100 ppi polyurethane foam core provides extra absorbency and cushioning that allows the tip to conform to irregular surfaces and hold more liquid than a polyester-only tip. Laundered using Teknipure’s proprietary cleaning system to minimize NVR, ions, and particulate contamination. Thermally bonded — no adhesives, silicone, or amides. Packaged in silicone-free bags. Lot and bar-coded for traceability. 5-year shelf life stored at ambient conditions (59–86°F / 15–30°C).
