The Teknipure TKM27 TekniMop™ is a lightweight carbon fiber flat mop frame designed for cleaning and decontamination of isolators, RABS, gloveboxes, pass-through chambers, equipment surfaces, work surfaces, and other confined critical environments. The ultra-compact 2"x7" format is the smallest in the TekniMop™ frame line, purpose-built for the tightest confined spaces where even the 4"x7" format cannot maneuver effectively. Compatible with ISO Class 5–8 cleanrooms and GMP-compliant cleaning protocols, the TKM27 is 2–3x lighter than traditional stainless steel systems. The non-shedding, non-porous, non-corrosive carbon fiber construction provides no microbial harbor sites and is easy to decontaminate with standard cleanroom disinfectants. Dual position-locking swivels enable manual positioning for vertical, horizontal, and overhead surface cleaning within confined spaces. Compatible with TekniMop™ mop covers with integrated pads — no separate mop pad required.

How does the TKM27 differ from the TKM47?
Both are TekniMop™ carbon fiber flat mop frames for isolator and confined space cleaning with the same dual position-locking swivel design and cleanroom compatibility. The TKM27 (2"x7") is the smallest frame in the TekniMop™ line, designed for the tightest confined spaces where even the TKM47 (4"x7") is too wide. Choose the TKM27 for ultra-narrow isolator interiors, glovebox ports, and pass-through chambers with very limited access; choose the TKM47 for standard isolator and RABS interior cleaning.
What mop covers are compatible with the TKM27?
The TKM27 is compatible with TekniMop™ mop covers in the 2"x7" format, including the TM-QP70G-258 (presaturated 70% IPA, 2-ply polyester, pocket-style) and TM-QP70G-258S (sterile presaturated 70% IPA). The 2.5"x8" covers (TM-QP258, TM-QP258S) may also be compatible — refer to the TDS for confirmed frame-to-cover compatibility. No separate mop pad is required when using covers with integrated pads.
Is the TKM27 autoclavable for sterile isolator environments?
