Techspray 2106-12S Fine-L-Kote HT High Temp Silicone Conformal Coating - 12 oz Aerosol / 12 per case
Techspray 2106-12S Fine-L-Kote® HT High Temperature Silicone Conformal Coating, 12 oz Aerosol
Techspray Fine-L-Kote® HT (2106) is a high-temperature silicone conformal coating engineered for PCBs and electronic assemblies operating in extreme thermal environments. The silicone SR formulation resists thermal breakdown up to 662°F (350°C) — significantly higher than acrylic or urethane coatings — while providing excellent moisture resistance, salt spray resistance, and vibration resistance due to its flexible, rubbery nature. A UV indicator allows black light inspection to verify coverage. UL94 V-0 rated, meets IPC-CC-830B, and passes MIL-I-46058C laboratory tests. The 12 oz aerosol format provides a fast-drying, one-step application process. Ground shipment only (aerosol).
Sold individually (12 oz aerosol can). Also available by the case of 12.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I choose silicone conformal coating over acrylic or urethane?
Silicone conformal coating is the correct choice when the PCB or assembly will be exposed to extreme temperatures (above 250°F / 125°C), high humidity environments, or significant vibration and mechanical stress. Silicone’s flexible, rubbery nature makes it highly resistant to thermal cycling and vibration — applications where acrylic or urethane coatings can crack or delaminate. Common applications include automotive electronics, outdoor signage, industrial controls, and aerospace assemblies exposed to wide temperature swings. The tradeoff is that silicone is not abrasion resistant and can be difficult to rework or remove compared to acrylic coatings.
What does the UV indicator do?
The UV indicator in Fine-L-Kote HT fluoresces under black (UV) light, allowing visual inspection of coating coverage after application. This makes it easy to identify uncoated areas, thin spots, or missed components without destructive testing. UV inspection is standard practice in IPC-A-610 Class 2 and Class 3 conformal coating inspection.
Does this coating meet MIL-I-46058C?
Techspray 2106 passes the laboratory tests of MIL-I-46058C but is not listed on the Qualified Products List (QPL-46058). If your application requires QPL-listed materials by specification, verify with your program requirements. For most commercial and industrial applications, IPC-CC-830B compliance is the applicable standard, which this product meets.
Can this aerosol be shipped by air?
No. As an aerosol product, the Techspray 2106-12S is restricted to ground shipment only and cannot be shipped via air freight or air parcel services. Please allow additional transit time for ground delivery when ordering.
