Teknipure TC2MFU1-99 MicroClean™ Laundered Polyester/Nylon Microfiber Sealed Edge Wiper, 9 x 9 in, Case of 1,000
Teknipure TC2MFU1-99 MicroClean™ Laundered Polyester/Nylon Microfiber Wiper, Sealed Edge, 9 in x 9 in, Case of 1,000
The Teknipure TC2MFU1-99 MicroClean™ is a dry, non-sterile laundered polyester/nylon microfiber cleanroom wiper with a sealed edge in the standard 9"x9" format, rated for ISO Class 2–7 environments. Constructed from a 190g/m² polyester/nylon microfiber blend, the split-filament microfiber construction provides mechanical cleaning action that standard polyester knit cannot replicate — the split filaments create a high-surface-area fabric that physically lifts and traps particles, oils, and fingerprints rather than simply pushing them across the surface. Laundering removes processing residues and loose fibers before packaging, ensuring the wiper meets the particle and fiber cleanliness requirements for ISO Class 2–7 environments. Lot traceable, manufactured in ISO-certified facilities. 5-year shelf life from date of manufacture.
Sold in cases of 1,000 wipers (100 wipers/bag, 2 bags/pack, 10 packs/case).

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes microfiber superior to standard polyester for optical and precision surface cleaning?
Standard polyester knit wipers use continuous filaments that push particles across a surface. Microfiber wipers use split filaments — each filament is mechanically split into many finer sub-filaments during manufacturing, creating a high-surface-area fabric with microscopic channels that physically lift and trap particles, oils, and fingerprints rather than redistributing them. This split-filament structure is particularly effective for removing oily contamination and fingerprints from optical surfaces, display glass, and polished metal where standard polyester would smear rather than remove the contamination.
Why is laundering important for a microfiber cleanroom wiper?
Microfiber fabric generates loose fibers and processing residues during manufacturing that must be removed before use in critical cleanroom environments. Laundering in a controlled cleanroom environment removes these loose fibers, particles, and residues, ensuring the wiper meets the particle and fiber cleanliness specifications for ISO Class 2–7 use. Unlaundered microfiber wipers may introduce contamination that defeats the purpose of using a high-performance wiper in a critical environment.
What is the difference between the TC2MFU1-99 laundered microfiber and the TC2MFUW-99 unlaundered microfiber?
Both are polyester/nylon microfiber wipers in the 9"x9" format with sealed edges. The TC2MFU1-99 is laundered — processed in a cleanroom laundry to remove loose fibers and manufacturing residues — making it suitable for ISO Class 2–7 environments. The TC2MFUW-99 is unlaundered, suitable for less critical environments (ISO Class 5–8) where the additional cleanliness of a laundered wiper is not required. Choose the laundered version for your most critical cleanroom zones; the unlaundered version for controlled environments with less stringent particle requirements.
