The Teknipure TC1PS1-26 TekniLight™ is a dry, non-sterile 100% polyester knit cleanroom wiper with a sealed edge in the extra-large 26"x26" format, rated for ISO Class 2–7 environments. The continuous-filament polyester knit construction generates significantly fewer particles and fibers than polyester/cellulose nonwoven wipers, and the sealed edge prevents fiber shedding at the perimeter during use. The 26"x26" is the largest standard TekniLight™ format — designed for maximum surface coverage in gowning room cleaning, large equipment wipedowns, wall and ceiling wiping, and pass-through chamber cleaning where a smaller wiper would require multiple passes. Excellent chemical compatibility with IPA, disinfectants, and most common cleanroom cleaning solutions.

Why would I choose the 26"x26" over the 20"x20" or 9"x9" TekniLightâ„¢?
The 26"x26" is the largest standard TekniLight™ format and provides the maximum surface coverage per wipe — ideal for gowning room benches, large equipment exteriors, wall panels, and pass-through chamber surfaces where a smaller wiper would require multiple passes and increase the risk of missed areas. The 20"x20" (TC1PS1-20) is a step down for slightly smaller large-surface tasks. The 9"x9" is the standard workhorse for bench and component-level cleaning. Choose the 26"x26" when coverage efficiency and minimizing wipe count are the priority.
What is TekniLight™ and how does it differ from TekniClean®?
Both TekniLight™ and TekniClean® are 100% polyester knit cleanroom wipers with sealed edges from Teknipure, but they differ in knit weight. TekniLight™ is a lighter-weight knit designed for applications where a softer, more conformable wiper is preferred — large surface cleaning, gowning rooms, and general ISO Class 2–7 maintenance. TekniClean® is a heavier-weight knit with greater durability and abrasion resistance for more demanding cleaning tasks. Both are rated for ISO Class 3–8; TekniLight™ extends to ISO Class 2 for the most critical applications.
What does "sealed edge" mean and why does it matter?
A sealed edge means the perimeter of the wiper has been thermally or ultrasonically fused to prevent fiber shedding at the cut edge. In cleanroom environments, loose fibers from wiper edges are a significant contamination source. Sealed-edge wipers eliminate this risk, making them suitable for ISO Class 2–7 environments where fiber contamination control is critical.
Is the TC1PS1-26 compatible with IPA and disinfectants?
Yes. TekniLightâ„¢ polyester knit wipers are highly compatible with isopropyl alcohol (IPA), sterile water, hydrogen peroxide, quaternary ammonium disinfectants, and most common cleanroom cleaning and disinfecting solutions.
