The SCS 1001824 is a metal-in static shielding bag from the SCS 1000 Series, designed to protect ESD-sensitive components and assemblies from electrostatic fields and electrostatic discharge (ESD) both inside and outside an ESD Protected Area (EPA). The 2.8 mil metal-in film laminate construction provides <10 nJ discharge shielding energy per ANSI/ESD STM11.31, meeting the requirements of ANSI/ESD S20.20 and ANSI/ESD S541 for ESD shielding packaging. Both inner and outer surfaces are static dissipative, allowing the bag to be grounded when placed on a grounded surface or handled by a grounded operator. Made in the USA. Available in open-top and zip-top styles.
