Why High Tack?

The Purus International EnviroTack™ PM 3660 34 B-HT is the high-tack version of the standard PM 3660 34 B blue adhesive mat. With a peel adhesion of 9.25 oz / 250 g/25mm — approximately 42% stronger than the regular-tack version — the high-tack mat is engineered for environments with heavier contamination loads, higher foot traffic, or applications where maximum particle capture is required on the first pass.

Like all Purus EnviroTack™ mats, the PM 3660 34 B-HT incorporates renewable, plant-based Cardia BioHybrid™ material in the LDPE film, reducing CO₂ emissions compared to conventional petroleum-based mats. Used mats can be recycled in conventional plastic recycling streams. Each layer is fully coated with a high-tack acrylic adhesive, and a low-profile numbered tab ensures clean, one-layer-at-a-time removal.

When should I choose high tack over regular tack?
Choose high tack when your environment has heavy contamination loads, high foot traffic, or when standard-tack mats are not capturing sufficient particulates on the first pass. High tack is also preferred for industrial applications like construction, asbestos abatement, and airport hangars where debris is coarser and heavier.

Will high-tack mats damage shoe soles or cart wheels?
No. While the adhesion is stronger than regular tack, the acrylic adhesive is designed to capture particulates without leaving residue on footwear or cart wheels under normal use conditions.
