The Purus EnviroTack PM 3645 34 W-HT is a 36" x 45" high-tack cleanroom sticky mat built for wide entryways, double-door access points, and high-traffic controlled environments. Each mat features 30 peel-away adhesive layers of low-density polyethylene film with a high-tack acrylic adhesive coating, capturing and containing particulate from foot traffic and wheeled equipment before it enters critical areas. A numbered tab system allows single-layer removal without disturbing the mat. Made with Purus's plant-based Cardia BioHybrid material and recyclable in conventional plastic streams.

When should I choose a 36x45 mat over a smaller size?
The 36" x 45" size is ideal for wide single doors, double-door entries, or any entryway where a narrower mat would allow personnel to step around it. It's also commonly used in front of gowning benches and equipment staging areas where a larger adhesive footprint improves contamination capture. If your doorway is 36 inches or wider, this size ensures full-width coverage.

What is the difference between high tack and regular tack?
High-tack mats have a peel adhesion of 9.25 oz / 250 g/25mm versus 6.5 oz / 190 g/25mm for regular tack. High tack is recommended for heavy foot traffic, wheeled carts, or ISO 5–7 cleanrooms where maximum particulate capture is critical. Regular tack is suitable for lighter-traffic areas or where personnel prefer less resistance underfoot.

How many layers does this mat have and how do I replace them?
Each mat has 30 peel-away layers. When the top layer is visibly soiled or per your contamination control SOP schedule, simply peel the top layer from the numbered tab edge and discard it. The numbered tab tells you exactly how many layers remain so you can plan reorders before running out.

Is this mat compatible with standard adhesive mat frames?
