The Purus International PS 2436 38 G-HT EnviroTack adhesive mat is a 30-layer, high tack sticky mat designed to remove and contain dirt, dust, and particulates from foot traffic and equipment wheels at cleanroom and controlled environment entryways. Made from low-density polyethylene film with a full acrylic adhesive coating on each layer, it is the first adhesive mat to incorporate renewable, GMO-free plant-based Cardia BioHybrid™ material — reducing CO₂ emissions without sacrificing performance. Fully recyclable in conventional plastic recycling streams.

What is the difference between regular tack and high tack EnviroTack mats?
High tack mats have a stronger adhesive with a peel adhesion of 9.25 oz / 250 g/25mm (±40), compared to 6.5 oz / 190 g/25mm for regular tack. High tack is recommended for environments with heavy foot traffic, wheeled equipment, or where maximum particle capture is required. Regular tack is suitable for lighter-traffic areas or where personnel prefer less resistance underfoot.

How do I use and replace layers on the EnviroTack mat?
Simply peel off the top layer when it becomes visibly soiled or at scheduled intervals per your contamination control protocol. Each layer is numbered via a low-profile tab so you always know how many layers remain. The mat should be placed at the cleanroom or controlled area entrance so all personnel and equipment wheels pass over it before entry.
