Each mat features 30 peel-away adhesive layers made from low-density polyethylene film with an acrylic adhesive coating, and includes a numbered tab system for easy single-layer removal. This mat uses Purus's plant-based Cardia BioHybrid material, making it an environmentally responsible choice for ISO cleanrooms, hospitals, semiconductor fabs, and industrial workspaces.

High-tack mats have a stronger adhesive (9.25 oz peel adhesion vs. 6.5 oz for standard tack) and are recommended for environments with heavy foot traffic, wheeled carts, or where maximum particulate capture is required. If personnel are wearing soft-soled cleanroom booties or you need aggressive contamination control at an ISO 5–7 entryway, high tack is the right choice.

How many layers does this mat have and how do I know when to peel one?
Each mat has 30 peel-away layers. A numbered tab on the edge indicates how many layers remain, so you always know when a layer is saturated and needs to be removed. Peel one layer at a time to expose a fresh adhesive surface.

Is this mat compatible with standard sticky mat frames?
