Purus International PS 2436 38 B EnviroTack Adhesive Mat, 24x36, 30-Layer, Blue, Case of 4
Purus International PS 2436 38 B EnviroTack Adhesive Mat, 24x36, 30-Layer, Blue, Case of 4
The Purus EnviroTack PS 2436 38 B is a 24" x 36" blue cleanroom sticky mat with 30 peel-away adhesive layers designed to capture and contain dirt, dust, and particulate from foot traffic and wheeled equipment at controlled environment entryways. The 24x36 footprint fits most standard single-door entries and gowning room access points, and the blue color provides high visual contrast for easy contamination monitoring. Each layer is made from low-density polyethylene film with a full acrylic adhesive coating, and a numbered tab system allows single-layer removal. Made with Purus's plant-based Cardia BioHybrid material and recyclable in conventional plastic streams.
Sold in cases of 4 mats.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a regular-tack or high-tack mat?
The PS 2436 38 B is a regular-tack mat with a peel adhesion of 6.5 oz / 190 g/25mm. This is suitable for most standard cleanroom and controlled environment applications with normal foot traffic. If your facility uses heavy wheeled carts or requires more aggressive particle capture, consider the high-tack version (PS 2436 38 G-HT) for stronger adhesion.
Why choose blue over white or gray for a 24x36 mat?
Blue mats provide high visual contrast against light-colored floors, making it easy to see when the top layer is soiled and needs to be peeled. This supports consistent contamination control protocols without guesswork. White and gray mats are available for environments with specific aesthetic or floor-marking requirements.
How do I know when to peel a layer?
Peel when the top layer is visibly soiled, or on a scheduled interval per your contamination control SOP. The numbered tab on the mat edge shows how many of the 30 layers remain so you can plan reorders before running out. Most facilities follow a time-based or traffic-count schedule rather than relying solely on visual inspection.
What makes Purus EnviroTack mats more sustainable than standard sticky mats?
Purus mats incorporate Cardia BioHybrid material — a GMO-free, renewable, plant-based additive that reduces CO₂ emissions compared to conventional LDPE mats. They are also recyclable in standard plastic recycling streams, unlike most sticky mats which go to landfill after use.
