Teknipure TM-MF-EL1 TekniMop Microfiber Floor Mop, Edgeless & Looped, 7 x 16 in, 16 oz, Case of 20

The Teknipure TM-MF-EL1 is an edgeless looped microfiber floor mop head for cleanroom floor cleaning, rated for ISO Class 4–7 environments. The edgeless looped construction uses continuous loops of washed microfiber tubes with no cut edges — eliminating edge-shed particles and fiber release that are a contamination risk with cut-edge mop heads. The looped tube design also prevents snagging on floor fixtures, equipment bases, and wall junctions, allowing the mop head to clean flush to edges and corners without catching. At 7" x 16" and 16 oz, the TM-MF-EL1 is a heavier, more substantial mop head than flat foam-microfiber designs — the additional mass and looped construction provide greater liquid holding capacity and more aggressive mechanical cleaning action for heavily soiled floors. Reusable — the robust construction allows for effective laundering and reuse as permitted by facility protocol. Laundered and packaged in ISO Class 4 (Class 10) cleanroom conditions. Compatible with TekniMop frame hardware. 20 mop heads per case.

Sold in cases of 20 mop heads.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the advantage of edgeless looped construction over flat foam-microfiber mop heads?

Edgeless looped construction uses continuous loops of microfiber tubes with no cut edges, eliminating the edge-shed particles and fibers that cut-edge mop heads release during use. The looped tube design also prevents snagging on floor fixtures, equipment bases, and wall junctions — a common issue with flat mop heads in cleanrooms with complex floor layouts. The 16 oz weight and looped construction provide greater liquid holding capacity and more aggressive mechanical cleaning action than lighter flat mop heads, making the TM-MF-EL1 better suited for heavily soiled floors or initial cleaning passes.

Is the TM-MF-EL1 reusable?

Yes — the robust looped microfiber construction is designed to withstand repeated laundering and reuse as permitted by your facility’s cleaning protocol. Reusable mop heads reduce per-cleaning cost compared to single-use disposable mop heads. Follow your facility’s validated laundering protocol to maintain cleanroom compatibility after each use cycle.

When should I use the TM-MF-EL1 (looped microfiber) vs. the TM-PFM-1T (flat foam-microfiber)?

The TM-MF-EL1’s looped construction provides greater liquid holding capacity, more aggressive mechanical cleaning, and better edge/corner access — preferred for initial cleaning passes, heavily soiled floors, and facilities where reusable mop heads are preferred. The TM-PFM-1T flat foam-microfiber is a lighter, single-use disposable mop head preferred for routine maintenance cleaning where consistent single-use hygiene is required. Choose based on your facility’s cleaning protocol, soil load, and reuse policy.

What cleaning solutions are compatible with the TM-MF-EL1?

The TM-MF-EL1 is compatible with most solvents and cleaning solutions used in controlled environments, including IPA, DI water, quaternary ammonium compounds, and hydrogen peroxide-based disinfectants. Verify compatibility with your specific cleaning solution concentration and contact time requirements per your facility’s validated cleaning protocol.
