Frequently Asked Questions

What cleanroom class is the ISO-NW rated for?
The Keystone ISO-NW is cleanroom compatible to ISO 7 (Class 10,000). It is designed for less critical cleanroom areas and controlled environments where protection against dry particulates is required. For higher-classification ISO environments, verify compatibility with your facility's gowning protocol.

What colors are available and why does color matter?
ISO-NW gowns are available in white, blue, and yellow. Color-coding is commonly used in gowning programs to differentiate departments, access levels, or shift assignments — making it easy to visually identify personnel in different areas of a facility at a glance.

Is the ISO-NW latex-free?
Yes — the ISO-NW is 100% latex-free, making it suitable for facilities with latex sensitivity policies and for use in environments where latex contamination must be avoided.

Is the ISO-NW flame resistant?
Yes — the spunbond polypropylene fabric is flame resistant with a melting point of 320–338°F, above the decomposition temperature of polyethylene, silk, cotton, and wool.

Is the ISO-NW reusable?
No — the ISO-NW is a disposable, single-use isolation gown. The 50-per-case packaging supports high-frequency replacement programs in cleanrooms, laboratories, and production environments.
