What is the maximum application thickness for RTV103?
Because it uses a moisture cure system, RTV103 should not be applied in sections greater than 6mm (1/4 in.) thick. For deeper sections, use a Momentive one-component addition cure or two-component silicone compound instead.

Yes — acetic acid vapors are released from the sealant surface as a by-product of the acetoxy cure process. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and cure. The odor is similar to vinegar and dissipates as curing completes.
