MG Chemicals RTV102-85mL is a one-component, white silicone adhesive sealant in an 85ml tube. RTV102 is a Momentive Performance Materials formulation commonly used as a formed-in-place silicone gasket (FIPG) material, silicone caulk, and general-purpose sealing, caulking, insulating, and bonding compound. It cures to a tough, durable, resilient elastomer on exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature. FDA-compliant silicone. Acetoxy cure chemistry (releases acetic acid during cure).

Is RTV102 safe for use on electronics?
RTV102 uses acetoxy cure chemistry, which releases acetic acid (vinegar odor) during curing — corrosive to copper and copper alloys. It is not recommended for direct application on bare copper PCB traces or copper-alloy contacts. For electronics-safe, copper-safe silicone, use MG Chemicals 1035 (neutral cure, non-corrosive) instead.
