The Desco 42516 Statfree Z2 is a heat-fused 3-layer dissipative vinyl roll for ESD-protected workstation bench mats, shelf liners, and cart shelf liners. The .125" thick construction combines an abrasion-resistant dissipative top layer, a highly conductive mesh middle layer for reliable grounding, and a dissipative cushioned bottom layer for energy absorption. All three layers carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty with no electrical drift. The 30" × 50' roll can be cut to any required length. Meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 and ANSI/ESD S4.1 worksurface requirements. Made in the USA.

What is the difference between the Desco 42516 and the Desco 42500 Z2 rolls?
Both are Statfree Z2 3-layer dissipative vinyl rolls in blue at .125" thick. The 42516 is 30" wide × 50' long — wider for large benches, dual-operator stations, or shelf and cart liner applications. The 42500 is 24" wide × 50' long — the standard single-operator bench width. Both carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all three layers.
Can the Z2 mat be used with ESD continuous workstation monitors?
Yes. The conductive mesh middle layer (<1×10⁴ Ω) provides a low-resistance path to ground that meets the resistance requirements for use with ESD continuous workstation monitors.
Does the 42516 include a ground cord?
No. The 42516 is the roll only. A Desco mat ground cord with the appropriate snap or eyelet must be purchased separately to connect the mat to a common point ground at the workstation.
