The Desco 15011 Statfree CV280 is a conductive PVC floor matting roll designed to provide a compliant ESD flooring surface for operators wearing ESD footwear. The 48" × 40' roll covers wide aisle and large-area floor zones and can be cut to any required length. The pebble-embossed conductive surface maintains low resistance even with normal accumulation of dirt and grime, ensuring a reliable path to ground throughout service life. Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Desco 15011 include a ground cord?
No. The 15011 is the roll only — a ground cord must be purchased separately. If you need a pre-cut mat with ground cord included, see the Desco 15013 floor mat kit (36" × 48"). For the same 48" width in a longer 60' roll, see the Desco 15012.
Does this floor mat work without ESD footwear?
No. The CV280 conductive floor mat is one element of a flooring/footwear system. The path to ground is only complete when the operator is wearing ESD footwear (heel grounders, ESD shoes, or foot grounders) that makes electrical contact with the conductive floor surface. Standard footwear with insulating soles will not complete the ground path.
Can the CV280 roll be cut to a custom length?
Yes. The 40-foot roll can be cut to any required floor zone length with standard utility or mat cutting tools. Cut edges do not affect ESD performance of the remaining material.
