The difference is the channel material: 119658 uses a stainless steel channel and 119659 uses a galvanized steel channel. Stainless steel is preferred in pharmaceutical, biotech, and high-purity semiconductor environments where galvanized metal is not permitted due to corrosion risk from aggressive disinfectants or autoclaving cycles. What is the difference between the 119658 (non-sterile) and 147546 (sterile) refills?
