Berkshire SPXMSVP0068, SatPax® MicroSeal VP, Presaturated Gowning Wiper, 6% IPA / 94% DI Water, 6" x 9", Case of 800

The Berkshire SatPax® MicroSeal VP in 6" x 9" gowning format is a presaturated cleanroom wiper designed specifically for gowning area use — wiping gloves, garments, and personnel surfaces before entering the cleanroom. The SPXMSVP0068 is saturated with 6% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) / 94% deionized (DI) water, a low-IPA formulation appropriate for gowning applications where high-concentration IPA would be too aggressive for glove materials, garment fabrics, or skin contact. The MicroSeal VP substrate features ultrasonic-sealed edges that eliminate fiber shedding, and the low-residue nonwoven construction minimizes particle generation — critical in gowning areas that serve ISO Class 3 through ISO Class 5 cleanrooms where personnel are the primary contamination source. The compact 6" x 9" format is sized for single-hand glove wiping and garment surface decontamination.

MTE Solutions stocks the SPXMSVP0068 in cases of 800 sheets. Each wipe is individually sealed to maintain saturation level. For the 100% IPA version of the MicroSeal VP for critical surface decontamination inside the cleanroom, see the SPXMSVP0028.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is 6% IPA used for gowning wipes instead of 70%?
Gowning wipes are used on gloves, garments, and sometimes skin — surfaces where high-concentration IPA (70%+) may degrade glove materials over time, damage garment fabrics, or cause skin irritation with repeated contact. The 6% IPA / 94% DI water formulation provides a gentle cleaning and low-level antimicrobial action appropriate for gowning area use without the material compatibility concerns of higher IPA concentrations. For critical surface decontamination inside the cleanroom, use the SPXMSVP0028 (100% IPA).

What is the difference between SPXMSVP0068 and SPXMSVP0028?
Both use the MicroSeal VP substrate with ultrasonic-sealed edges. The SPXMSVP0068 is 6" x 9", saturated with 6% IPA for gowning area use. The SPXMSVP0028 is 9" x 9", saturated with 100% IPA for critical surface decontamination inside the cleanroom. They serve different steps in the cleanroom contamination control protocol.

What ISO cleanroom class is this rated for?
Rated for ISO Class 3 through ISO Class 8 environments (equivalent to Federal Standard 209E Class 1 through Class 100,000).

How many wipes come in a case?
Each case contains 800 wipes. Each wipe is individually sealed to maintain saturation level.
