Berkshire SPX1000.002.12, SatPax 1000, Presaturated Nonwoven Wiper, 9% IPA / 91% DI Water, 9" x 9", Case of 900
Berkshire SPX1000.002.12, SatPax® 1000, Presaturated Nonwoven Wiper, 9% IPA / 91% DI Water, 9" x 9", Case of 900
The Berkshire SatPax® 1000 .002 is a presaturated cleanroom wiper that combines the Durx® 670 nonwoven substrate — a hydroentangled blend of 55% cellulose and 45% polyester — with a low-concentration 9% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) / 91% deionized (DI) water saturation solution. The low IPA concentration makes this variant appropriate for applications where high-concentration IPA is incompatible with the surface material, process chemistry, or regulatory requirements — such as certain plastics, coated surfaces, or processes where IPA residue or flammability is a concern. The Durx 670 substrate provides good absorbency and low lint performance for a nonwoven wiper in ISO Class 5 through ISO Class 8 environments.
MTE Solutions stocks the SPX1000.002.12 in cases of 900 sheets (75 wipes per pack, 12 packs per case). Each wipe is individually sealed to maintain saturation level. For the standard 70% IPA formulation on the same substrate, see the SPX1000.001.12. For a different low-IPA variant, see the SPX1000.011.12.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why would I choose 9% IPA over 70% IPA?
The 9% IPA / 91% DI water formulation is appropriate when high-concentration IPA is incompatible with your surface material, process chemistry, or regulatory requirements. Common use cases include certain plastics or coated surfaces that are attacked by high-concentration IPA, processes where IPA flammability is a concern, or applications where a predominantly water-based cleaning solution is specified by your SOP. For standard surface decontamination, the 70% IPA formulation (SPX1000.001.12) is more effective against a broader spectrum of microorganisms.
What is the difference between SPX1000.002.12 and SPX1000.011.12?
Both are low-IPA SatPax 1000 variants on the Durx 670 nonwoven substrate. The .002.12 is 9% IPA / 91% DI water. The .011.12 is a different low-IPA formulation — check the specific IPA concentration on the .011.12 product page for your application requirements.
What ISO cleanroom class is the SPX1000.002.12 rated for?
Rated for ISO Class 5 through ISO Class 8 environments (equivalent to Federal Standard 209E Class 100 through Class 100,000).
How many wipes come in a case?
Each case contains 900 wipes — 75 wipes per pack, 12 packs per case. Each wipe is individually sealed to maintain saturation level.
