Frequently Asked Questions
What environments is GenPro® suitable for?
GenPro® is designed for general purpose environments and visitor gowning programs in non-hazardous settings. It is not rated for cleanroom use, ESD-sensitive areas, or hazardous material environments.
Does GenPro® provide fluid protection?
GenPro® provides a moderate barrier to fluids and particulates — sufficient for general purpose use but not for environments requiring full fluid resistance. For higher fluid protection, use AquaTrak® or BarrierTech® shoe covers instead.
Is GenPro® conductive or ESD-safe?
No — GenPro® is specifically a non-conductive polypropylene shoe cover. For ESD-sensitive environments, use the Conductive SureGrip® (SH-125 series) instead.
How do I identify the correct size?
Thread color around the opening indicates size: White = Univ., Black = XL. Two sizes are available to accommodate most users.
