ACL Staticide 3000 Original Concentrate — Topical ESD Anti-Static Treatment
ACL Staticide 3000 Original Concentrate is the industry-standard topical antistatic treatment trusted by electronics manufacturers, semiconductor fabs, and defense contractors worldwide. Proven over decades of use, it eliminates static charge on floors, surfaces, equipment, and packaging materials — protecting sensitive electronic components from ESD damage and eliminating dust attraction in production environments.
Key Specifications
- Surface resistance: 10e9 to 10e10 ohms
- Static decay: Less than two seconds
- Effective below 15% relative humidity
- Longer lasting than other topical antistatics — lasts weeks to months depending on application
- Exceeds MIL-B-81705 and NFPA-56A electrostatic decay criteria
- Meets DOD-HDBK-263 requirements for topical anti-stats
- Can be applied by spray, wipe, dip, gravure, transfer roll-coating, or flexographic printing
- Classified as low-charging per ANSI/ESD S541-2019 when tested per ESD ADV11.21
Dilution Instructions
Always add concentrate to solvent — never add solvent to concentrate — to avoid foaming. Pure water or isopropyl alcohol (IPA) may be used as the solvent.
- Non-porous surfaces (machines, fixtures, paneling, tile, trays, totes, films, plastics, paper, non-woven fabrics): 99 parts solvent to 1 part concentrate
- Porous surfaces (carpets, work surfaces, conveyor belts, clothing, textiles): 39 parts solvent to 1 part concentrate
Application
Apply to a clean, dry surface by spray, wipe, roll-coat, or dip. Allow to dry completely before use. Verify surface resistivity with a meter after application — target range is 10e9 to 10e10 ohms. Reapply as needed when resistivity readings exceed 10e10 ohms; frequency depends on traffic and cleaning schedule.
Ideal Applications
- ESD floor and surface treatment in electronics manufacturing and cleanrooms
- Preventing damage to sensitive electronic components during manufacture, testing, packaging, and shipping
- Eliminating dust attraction on production surfaces and equipment
- Preventing ignition of combustible vapors, dust, and solvents
- Static control in quality printing, heat sealing, silk screening, and lamination
- Packaging material treatment — classified as low-charging per ANSI/ESD S541-2019
Available in Quart, 1-Gallon, 5-Gallon Pail, and 50-Gallon Drum. Need a chloride-free, RoHS-compliant formula? See the ACL Staticide 3030 Concentrate.
