Teknipure TC1PS1-20 TekniLight Polyester Knit Wiper, Sealed Edge, 20 in x 20 in, Case of 100
Teknipure TC1PS1-20 TekniLight™ Polyester Knit Wiper, Sealed Edge, 20 in x 20 in, Case of 100
The Teknipure TC1PS1-20 TekniLight™ is a dry, non-sterile 100% polyester knit cleanroom wiper with a sealed edge in the large 20"x20" format, rated for ISO Class 2–7 environments. The continuous-filament polyester knit construction generates significantly fewer particles and fibers than polyester/cellulose nonwoven wipers, and the sealed edge prevents fiber shedding at the perimeter during use. The 20"x20" format is one of the largest standard TekniLight™ sizes — designed for gowning room surface cleaning, large equipment wipedowns, pass-through chamber cleaning, and any application where maximum surface coverage per wipe is required. Excellent chemical compatibility with IPA, disinfectants, and most common cleanroom cleaning solutions.
Sold in cases of 100 wipers (25 wipers/bag, 4 bags/case).

Frequently Asked Questions
What is TekniLight™ and how does it differ from TekniClean®?
Both TekniLight™ and TekniClean® are 100% polyester knit cleanroom wipers with sealed edges from Teknipure, but they differ in knit weight and intended application. TekniLight™ is a lighter-weight knit designed for applications where a softer, more conformable wiper is preferred — gowning room surfaces, large equipment wipedowns, and general ISO Class 2–7 cleaning. TekniClean® is a heavier-weight knit with greater durability and abrasion resistance for more demanding cleaning tasks. Both are rated for ISO Class 3–8 environments; TekniLight™ extends to ISO Class 2 for the most critical applications.
Why choose the 20"x20" format over the 9"x9" or 12"x12"?
The 20"x20" is one of the largest standard TekniLight™ formats and is designed for applications where surface coverage per wipe is the priority — gowning room benches and walls, large equipment exteriors, pass-through chamber surfaces, and floor sections. The larger format reduces the number of wipes needed per area and minimizes the risk of missed spots on large surfaces. For bench-level component cleaning and precision tasks, the 9"x9" or 12"x12" formats are more appropriate.
What does "sealed edge" mean and why does it matter?
A sealed edge means the perimeter of the wiper has been thermally or ultrasonically fused to prevent fiber shedding at the cut edge. In cleanroom environments, loose fibers from wiper edges are a significant contamination source. Sealed-edge wipers eliminate this risk, making them suitable for ISO Class 2–7 environments where fiber contamination control is critical.
Is the TC1PS1-20 compatible with IPA and disinfectants?
Yes. TekniLight™ polyester knit wipers are highly compatible with isopropyl alcohol (IPA), sterile water, hydrogen peroxide, quaternary ammonium disinfectants, and most common cleanroom cleaning and disinfecting solutions. The 100% polyester construction provides excellent chemical resistance across a wide range of solvents and cleaning agents.
