Frequently Asked Questions

How does the 8750 differ from the 7100?
Both are ISO 5 nitrile cleanroom gloves at 12", but the 8750 is blue and has a significantly thicker fingertip (0.21mm / 8.2 mils vs. 0.14–0.16mm on the 7100), making it better suited for high-torque applications and tasks requiring extra fingertip durability. The 7100 is white and offers slightly more tactile sensitivity at the fingertip.

What are high-torque cleanroom applications?
High-torque applications include tightening fasteners, handling heavy components, operating precision instruments, and any task where grip force is applied repeatedly. The 8750’s reinforced fingertip and texture provide better control and durability in these scenarios compared to thinner cleanroom gloves.

What does double-bagged mean for cleanroom gloves?
Double bagging means gloves are sealed in an inner bag inside an outer bag. The outer bag is wiped down and introduced into the cleanroom airlock; the inner bag is opened inside — preventing packaging contamination from entering the controlled environment.

Is the HandPRO 8750 latex-free?
Yes — it is not made with natural rubber latex, making it safe for latex-sensitive personnel in cleanroom environments.
