Transforming Technologies CTM Series tacky mats are a cost-effective, low-maintenance solution for controlling foot and wheel-borne contamination at cleanroom and controlled environment entry points. The 24" x 36" size is the most widely used format — wide enough to require two full steps across, ensuring both shoe soles make full contact with the adhesive surface before personnel enter the controlled area.
Each mat consists of 30 numbered, peel-off LDPE film sheets. As the top sheet becomes loaded with contamination, it is simply peeled away and discarded, exposing a fresh, clean adhesive surface underneath. The white color makes contamination highly visible — dirt and debris show up clearly against the white surface, making it easy to see exactly when it’s time to peel to the next sheet. The medium-tack adhesive holds particles firmly without leaving residue on shoe soles or cart wheels.
