The Berkshire Choice SatPax® 600 combines the Choice 600 nonwoven substrate — a thermally bonded blend of 55% cellulose and 45% polyester with no chemical binders — with a 45% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) / 55% deionized (DI) water saturation solution at a 57% saturation level. The Choice 600 substrate has higher polyester content than the Choice 500 (45% vs. 40%), producing lower lint generation — making the Choice SatPax 600 the appropriate presaturated specification when lint control is the primary requirement in an ISO Class 5–8 environment. The 45% IPA concentration is lower than the standard 70% disinfection concentration, making this variant appropriate for applications where a lower-IPA presaturated wiper is specified — such as processes sensitive to high IPA concentrations or where a predominantly water-based cleaning action is required with some IPA co-solvent benefit.
